What a great game to watch from stanwix U7-s team. four players getting 2 goals each from our youngest player Luke P netting 2, Spider 2, Elliot 2 and Ozzie 2 completing the tally on goals. I was very pleased again how the team are developing with spacial awerness and commited runs forward and at times trying to pass the ball to each other. Player of the game went to Jamie for his hard work in defence with his tackling and stopping Harraby from getting near our goal keeper james. He also had a hand in setting up 2 goals from his defensive work and passes forward to enable our midfield or forwrds to score. WELL DONE JAMIE. James didn-t have a lot top do until Harraby were awarded a penalty after a tackle from behind from spider. James saved it to keep the score down to their 3 goals. plenty of defensive work and commitment from Ben, Alfie, Elliot, James cole. A good all round performance from all the players for this well deserved win. We play Harraby Catholic B side next week at the Glebe and hope that the team have yet another great performance.
